Dr. A. K. Shrivastav

Head of Electrical Engineering, JIS College of Engineering

Dr. A. K. Shrivastav earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in 2019 and his M.Tech from NIT Durgapur. With over 12 years of academic experience, he currently serves as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani. His research focuses on renewable and sustainable power systems, solar PV applications, hybrid microgrids, power electronics control, and smart grid stability. He has published more than 30 international journal papers and filed eight patents, including one granted. His work widely applies computational intelligence techniques for fault detection, power quality enhancement, and optimal energy management. He supervises four Ph.D. scholars and is a reviewer for leading journals under Elsevier, IEEE, Springer, and Nature. He is an active member of IEEE, IEI, IAENG, and ISTE.

Prof. (Dr.) Partha Sarkar

Principal, JIS College of Engineering

Prof. (Dr.) Partha Sarkar is a distinguished academic leader with 29 years of experience in Microelectronics and Nano-electronics. An alumnus of Jadavpur University, he currently serves as Principal, Dean Academics, and Chief Controller of Examinations at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani. He has previously held key leadership roles at BPUT Odisha, GITAM Bhubaneswar, and NIT Bhubaneswar. Dr. Sarkar has published 29 SCOPUS/SCIE-indexed research papers, presented widely in international IEEE conferences, and holds 27 published patents. His expertise spans device physics, photonics, and academic administration. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of IEI, IETE, and ISTE.

Dr. Marta Zurek-Mortka is a Senior Researcher at Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Kraków, Poland. She contributes to the institute’s mission of advancing applied research and technological innovation through rigorous scientific work and collaboration. Her affiliation ensures access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure and interdisciplinary cooperation across the network of 22 institutes spanning multiple scientific areas.

Dr. Trupti Ranjan Lenka

Associate Professor, NIT Silchar, India

Dr. Trupti Ranjan Lenka is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam, India. He is actively engaged in research, teaching, and mentoring in the fields of semiconductor devices, VLSI design, and advanced electronic materials. Through his work at NIT Silchar, Dr. Lenka contributes to high-impact research and collaborates on funded projects and scholarly initiatives within the institute and beyond. He is widely recognized for his academic contributions and commitment to advancing electronic engineering education and research.
