I am a student of Automobile Engineering department at Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College. All the students are brilliant in academics and also have many extracurricular skills. Moreover, my fellow college mates and faculty members are always eager to help. I must also say one more thing that I am very lucky to be a part of the best Engineering Department with World Class infrastructure and study environment. The college has sketched a concrete career design for me ensuring me with a better future.
Being a student studying in Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - a JIS Group institution, is a highly rewarding experience as the institution has helped me to become a competent professional as well as a confident, educated and well groomed individual. With class lectures being interactive and all queries being answered in detail, our doubts and misconceptions are cleared. Training, workshops and seminars conducted throughout the year are very well planned and delivered, keeping in mind the job prospect. These seminars, we believe, gave us an edge over other college students.
When I commenced my B.Tech in Electrical engineering, my objectives were to explore interests that were beyond the usual curriculum. Fortunately I got admitted at the Narula Institute of Technology under the JIS Group. It had a rich blend of experienced faculties and reputed guest lecturers. The well-equipped Technical Labs and Communication labs aided in technical skill and communication skill upgradation. Encouragement from my faculty members, I had my first experience of publishing research at ICONCE-2014. During my campus placements, I got a covetable job at Tech Mahindra and presently working at Cognizant Technology Solutions.
I am a B.Tech graduate - CSE Dept - from Greater Kolkata College of Engineering & Management which falls under JIS Group Educational Initiatives. I have always appreciated the knowledge and values that have been taught in this institution. My programme was full of enlightening experiences, ranging from academics to co-curriculum. Apart from the values it instilled in me JIS Group has made me industry ready the during campus drive with a wide range of corporates like Tech Mahindra, ITC Infotech and Ericsson. In fact, I was successfully placed at TCS after completion of the course.
As a student of Asansol Engineering College (AEC) and a part of the JIS family, I take this opportunity to convey my heartfelt gratitude towards my college and JIS Group of Educational Initiatives for their exemplary work in the path of education. The guidance of all the faculty members, their unfatigued efforts have contributed in helping us to create a niche of our own in the domain of engineering. AEC has been path breaking in its approach helping the students to understand the embedded quality of learning that inspires knowledge.
I am a final year student of Civil Engineering from Narula Institute of Technology. Studying in a ragging free campus, I have had the best experience of my life in the past three years. Being the President of the Student's Chapter, Narula Institute of Technology of the American Society of Civil Engineers and an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, I can firmly say that my college has opened doors towards new opportunities and exposure for the students. Apart from having a good education system, the students get a chance to get involved in organizing cultural events, sports tournaments and other extra-curricular events.
I am at a loss of words to express how wonderful my experience has been as a Food Technology student at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology. The college has given me plenty of opportunities to shine in various aspects, starting from JIS Samman to International Educational Camp in Bangkok, Thailand at Asian Institute of Technology. I feel lucky to be a part of this college and hope to see it excel in the near future with heaps of achievements.
Hi, I was a student of Narula Institute of Technology, Sodepur under the JIS Group Educational Initiatives. My academic journey with NIT has been an enriching experience. We went to the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok on a 13-day visit which has made me grow as an individual. The workshops were immensely helpful as we attended seminars on construction engineering and management, satellite communication and space debris, augmented reality, remote sensing, health IT and GIS, energy engineering and management, 3D computer graphics, nano technology, transportation engineering, climate change and water engineering, intelligent clinical training systems etc. JIS faculty and practical approach has transformed me not only as a student but also as a human being. JIS collaboration with foreign institutes fosters better opportunities not only in terms of learning but also in terms of job opportunities.
